Inaugurated in September 2007, the Letzigrund Stadium of Zürich will be home to some of Euro 2008’s most interesting matches, as it will host to some very interesting games like Italy-France, Romania-France and Romania-Italy. The confrontation between Italy and France (the two former World Cup finalists) is regarded as one of the most interesting games in the group stage.

The new stadium was built in a record time, in just 12 month, despite having a very sophisticated architecture, mainly built by steel.
